You were
You were my perfect sunrise and sunset
Colors crisp, breathtakingly beautiful
A piece of me I didn’t know I was missing
Eyes as beaconing as blue ocean on a sunny cloudless day
A soul so tormented yet still so gentle you soothe others troubled waters without even trying
Witty and kind
Protective and yet not overbearing
The perfect amount of adventure and relaxation
Like the soft song of the morning calling bird on a cool summer morning
You lifted the fog from around my heart
Exposing it once again to a light it had shut out long ago.
I am happy to have met you
You were like a breath of Fresh air
Soothing to my aching lungs. Allowing me to breathe again
Suddenly clouds rolled in and obscured the sky
The winds shifted and it was hard to breathe again
The waters which sat silent and still began to rage once more And with them I was once again lost to the chaos of my own mind
